By now you should have had your bike serviced or booked in for a pre race service. We recommend that your bike is completely striped and cleaned prior to race day. This means that there shouldn't be any mechanical surprises on race day and your bike is ready endure the 180km ride on race day.
Another important factor to consider is your bike fit. We recommend that all our IRONMAN athletes get their fit looked at during training to make sure you are as comfortable as possible on race day. Something to think about for IRONMAN 70.3.
Lead up to Race Day
We'll be in Taupo the week of IRONMAN to assist you with any bike queries or servicing you may need before race day. Our team will be located outside the Expo Centre in the Performance Bicycle Tuning Service Centre from Wednesday 1 March through to Friday 3 March. Our mechanics will be happy to help you with any questions or fix minor issues that may occur due to travelling.
The Service Centre hours are:
Wed 1 & Thur 2 March 9am - 5pm
Friday 3 March 9am - 4pm
There will also be some product available in the Centre i.e. C02 cannisters, tyres, tubes and helmets.
Congratulations ... You Did It!!
Best thing to do now is rest, recover and repair.

Our team are excited to be out there on race day with you. First thing in the morning we'll be in the transition area to take care of any emergencies and keep an eye on things while you are out on the swim.
Once the bike leg begins, our team will be in service vehicles covering the course and assisting you in case you encounter any technical difficulties. We can't do the repair for you but we can talk you through it and offer the tools you may need.
